User: Access a forum #176

As a migrant/merchant, I want to be able to ask a question on a forum on MigrantHub to be able to have them answered by other Migrants that have been through the same things as me.

Story Points: 5 Priority: High Risk: Low

Tasks:

Demo Steps:

  1. Navigate to programmedby.me
  2. Click on forum on the footer
  3. Interact with forum

Instead of creating our own forum (which would be a whole project on its own), we are thinking of integrating open source forum software into our application. We would create a link on the website that points to the forum, the URL would change to something like:

  1. forum.migranthub.com
  2. discuss.migranthub.com
  3. community.migranthub.com

The following are a few candidate projects that we can use:

  1. NodeBB - Demo/Live
  2. Discourse - Demo/Example
  3. Vanilla Forums - Demo/Live
  4. Flarum - Demo/Live
