I've renamed the app in the ppa to flashbox. Can you try installing flashbox v12.07.5?
The error doesn't appear anymore but if I run with "sudo" I get a similar one:
(flashbox:5635): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.gnome.desktop.interface' is not installed
PS: Good thing you changed the name, it was a bit confusing to have both a downloadr and a flashbox. I don't quite get though how it works, is the flash content supposed to appear in the "white space" of the application?

You don't need sudo. I would advice against using the app with sudo.

Yes. Just open any flash video sites (works best with vimeo, dailymotion...) and the videos should get listed in the app. Works with Firefox, Chromium. Doesn't work with Chrome, still needs some work.
Oh I see, I was using Chrome. I guess that's worth noting haha.
Hope you find it useful.

Hi, when I try to run downloadr I get this error:
(downloadr:16266): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'net.launchpad.downloadr' is not installed
I tried creating a schema in dconf-editor but I could only find the normal keys, i.e. not schemas.
