invalid authentication #421

I am trying to use the Tuya v2 home assistant integration However, I am unable to login. I keep getting "Invalid authentication" error message I checked and rechecked that the Access ID & Access Secret are correct (copied from a new smart home cloud project in iot.tuya.com), and my account and password are the same used to login to iot.tuya.com (as well as the smart life app)

I think I had a similar problem with the older integration, but I don't recall how I managed to login

Checked every step? https://github.com/tuya/tuya-home-assistant/wiki/Tuya-IoT-Platform-Configuration-Guide-Using-Smart-Home-PaaS?_source=27c468b2abbb019eb4983fc8cea49b90

yes I am trying to use the same cloud app created to connect to the TuyaV1 integration The access Id and secret are pretty clear I am using "Smart Life" for the mobile app field I am in Israel (and my smart life app displays Israel as the account location), so I am entering the country code (972). I see that my tuya cloud app availability zones is set to: "China, Europe, India, America, Western Europe, Eastern America". Do I need to change that? I could not find any information regarding Israel availability zones in "Correspondence of regions and availability zones" Lastly, the account and password are the same as those used to successfully login to the tuya cloud

Btw, the cloud app is linked to the smart life app (under "account and security"/"cloud development project"). should I unlink it?

Can you create a ticket and provide your account info through it? Then we can track it. https://service.console.tuya.com/8/2/create?source=content_feedback

Hi, I have the same problem. Is any information how to solve it?

hros commented 3 years ago

Followed a youtube video describing the cloud project creation There is a step of adding device notification service to the list of api's supported by the project Then you have to link with your app (smart life or tuya) by scanning a qr code Finally, use the user name and password associated with your app when logging in to the integration

I solved a problem another way. I had a project created about a year ago for my tuya v1 original HA integration. I read all manual about connection tuya v2 and add to my old project needed services, but had an error on connection stage. Then i create a new project and integration setup in a few moments. The problem in my opinion is that old projects have not some information, that needed for new integration.
