Temp Sensor not visible in Tuya Integration #656

Hi,

Firstly, do the below instructions work with the Tuya integration that is now built in to Home Assistant or is this just for the HACS Tuya V2 custom install....?

logger: default: critical logs: custom_components.tuya_v2: debug

I am not using a custom component, rather the Tuya builtin integration. Adding this to my config.yaml doesn't seem to work for me.

I'm hoping with the lack of the logs that this will be enough info to help with some temp sensors I have that appear in Tuya IoT but not in HA.

There doesn't appear to be anything under the 'Debugging Info' on the IoT site.

@DannoUK I also have the same device 温湿度传感器 Belongs to same category wsdcg Which is listed as supported for 2021.11 I have the latest 2021.11 and they are discovered in ha but listed as unsupported and don’t show any entities. Of course, they work well in tuya app and IoT cloud project. Not sure why it’s marked as enhancement and not a bug as this is claimed to work and it doesn’t, Can you please point me to a way to solve this?

Yesterday, Home Assistant 2022.2 was released. Could you try upgrading to that version and see if the issue has been resolved?

If not, Home Assistant 2022.2 contains a new diagnostic tool. There is now a "Download Diagnostics" button on each Tuya device on the device page. Clicking that button will download diagnostics information for that specific device. Drag the downloaded file into this issue. It will help with finding out what the problem is.
