Driver support deta grid connect fan/light controller #807

If possible can we please have driver support for Smart Fan Speed Controller+Light Switch with Grid Connect purchased through bunnings Australia. You can see the fan and light for on / off but have no speeds unless you create scenes which works but then there isn't any feedback so HA is unsure if they have worked or whether the speed its high, medium or low. Thanks

I have a Deta fan with no light, and for me the on/off works, as well as speed control, and thats it.

But the Local Tuya HACS integration lets me also control direction (winter/summer mode), so maybe try the local Tuya, even though its un-official its had better support for things ive tried

Thanks I'll look into it. Although mine isn't the fan it's just the controller. I think the main issue is the state though. HA doesn't know the state of the fan speeds etc.

Looks like Tuya Cloud intergration support for this may have been added in 2023.* i'm now running 2023.3.1 and the light and fan controller works.

To bad it defaults to "fast" but I assume that is the firmware on the device.

On my delta grid connect fan switches, I managed to get both light and fan and the 3 fan speeds (low medium high) working correctly using Tuya local, I’ll add the settings here incase it helped some one fix this bug in the version built into home assistant.

Fan ID 1 = (value: False) Fan Speed Control Dps = 3(value: 1) Minimum Fan Speed Integer = 1 Maximum Fan Speed Integer = 3 DP Value Type = str

Light ID = 9(Value: False)
