I have the error 1106 all of a sudden, was working all good until today

YashMaster commented 1 year ago

Did y'all figure this out?

eimarfandino commented 1 year ago

@YashMaster no, at the end i started to move to local tuya

snipsh0t commented 1 year ago

I had the same issue, solved it by creating a password without any special characters for the tuya smart app (only alphanumeric characters)

EsEnZeT commented 1 year ago

I created multiple accounts, different passwords combinations and it still fails...

eimarfandino commented 1 year ago

I got it working, you don’t need to use the tuya cloud password but the password you use for the tuya app

andremussche commented 1 year ago

i got the same error, also when I try to use the "Get the device information' call in the api explorer in the tuya iot cloud https://openapi.tuyaeu.com/v1.0/iot-03/devices/

But when I try another "Get Device Information" call in the api explorer tree, it works! https://openapi.tuyaeu.com/v1.1/iot-03/

so got some devices working now through localtuya and getting the local key via the api explorer

I changed my password to one which only includes numbers and letters but I'm still stuck on error 1106...

Good call thanks, that worked great.

Got it to work after removing any special characters and using the Tuya Smart Life App credentials for Account* and Password NOT the IoT Dev account.
