Smart Doorbell doesnt monitor Doorbell button

Does the smart doorbell seriosuly not actually work as a doorbell? Its great that i can control the volume, and flip the image and everything.... but most people buy a doorbell to work as a doorbell.... is this being worked on to be added?

Any news on this topic? Great that I can view the camera stream (or change the sensitivity) in Home Assistant, but it's extremely frustrating that receiving an doorbell alert isn't possible.

It looks like the manufacturer has given up on user support. We need to look for another device, but this one is in the trash, because it is of no use in a smart home!
