large dictionaries cannot be fully downloaded #135

Is the issue specific to a particular dictionary?  If so, which one? (For
example: DE-EN or German-English).

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.download a large dictionary (en-fr, de-en)
2.download starts and timeout at about 50%
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
4.0.1
Android 4.3 on Nexus 4

I completely reworked the way downloads work in the latest version, to be 
released hopefully tomorrow.
