express card SSD 80GB not seen #44

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.I booted my ubuntu 10.10 with a SSD express card (80GB) which is well 
recognized on windows but ubuntu doesn't see it.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
should see a new drive but nothing is seen even through gparted.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I have a VPFF11Z1E with ubuntu 10.10 AMD64.

Please provide any additional information below.
I would like to know if anyone was able to use any expresscard on their ubuntu 
and if yes did it work oob or did they do something ?
