camera doesnt work in skype vaio vpcf132FD/B lucid

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open skype
2. options -> video-> Test
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see myself, see black screen instead

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
vpcf132FD/B lucid with a kernel patch to .36 so the mic works...

Please provide any additional information below.

Camera works fine in cheese ( UVC Camera 064e:2100) and is detected in skype, 
but no picture at all

okay, my bad... it suddenly started working. possibly user error... the only 
thing I did was record a video in cheese to check if I could (I could), and 
then when I went back to skype the test video image jumped to life. weird, but 
working!
