Adding while I think about it and up for debate. Currently we have a series of things which need to be checked or run from "Acquisiton Settings" or "Commands" for camera operation. I wonder if we have a big button or a status indicator on the main tab which has a summary of status. A lot of the confusion has come from the "Connect" button. Would there be a way of simplifying this. For instance:
UV camera on (conmection found) = Yes
Software Running = Yes and Connected
Camera Acquiring = Yes /schedule to start at/in / No
I wonder if then some of the options could be moved from the dropdown to the main screen. Is there a reason you wouldnt want to be connected to the software if it was running? I.e., would you want to "Run Pycam without automated acquisition" if pycam_masterpi.py wasn't running on the camera?
This is a not a priority but wanted to put thoughts down.
