Our customer would like to have a traceability not only to the port, but further down the value chain up to his warehouse.
Currently we do not manage these steps ourself. But we should already prepare us for this.
This means, we need to be able to follow the traceability after delivery at the port in container lots. One lot contains 25025 kg (385 bags with each 65 kg) and has a unique lot number assigned to it.
This container lot is stocked at the port, put into one container and delivered by seafreight to our customer's factory.
The container lot number is already printed on the export bags we fill in our warehouses.
