This thread is dedicated to discussion of issues in writing for Nature Medicine.

Nature Medicine Word Template, please open with MS Word 2017 or above.

Tasks:

  1. Introduction and Literature survey
  2. Experimental design, result and analysis
  3. How to account single-metric diagnosis study

Three main contributions:

  1. Univariate (correlation, independence test, discriminant analysis) analysis to identify effective echogenicity metrics to diagnose CKD
  2. Multi-variate analysis w/ Logistic/Linear regression/machine learning models for the best diagnosis or screening power
  3. Interpretation w/ decision tree

Paper organization There are several papers that I would like to thoroughly study for the purpose of learning the organization of our articles.

  1. covid wearable study by Mike
  2. covid wearable study by scripps
  3. 2 explainable AI papers from nature

Experiments

  1. reproduce statical analysis results 2.reproduce machine learning results
  2. plots

For each experiment that we do, we must

  1. understand why we did it
  2. what is the observations
  3. what are the explanations

The best way of quality assurance is to have slides (paper on slides), this is a divide-and-conquer approach, generally applicable to many research projects.
