I'm confused—these are code snippets for Bootstrap, are they?

If you mean the bootstrapee itself, it is based in bootstrap and if you mean the freebies, most of our (current and comming) freebies are bootstrap based. But it will be open to contribution soon, so we are not going to limit the freebies to only bootstrap.
