Can we start doing releases? #167

There has been a lot of great work since the most recent release (March 2 :scream:) . I am working on an IOG project that is depending on a cornucopia of forks and arbitrary pinned commits, and am hoping to assess the work of depending on this official repo. It would be helpful in general to have more frequent minor releases and change logs in order to do the assessment, and also to track down changes to the dependencies of this lib. Is this something that we are able to start doing?

That's certainly a very good idea. I think that merging #154 and collecting a few low-hanging fruits that have to do with it, together with a little bit of cleanup in the examples, would certainly be a good point for a release.

We'll have to discuss internally what the conditions on releases should be and what the next release should consequently incorporate.

We have now, see v1.0.0 for latest cooked-version that supports Plutus V1. Currently, main is the development version of Plutus V2, it fully supports Plutus V2 features but we have yet to stabilize the API before we release cooked v2.0.0
