hamilton not buildable anymore #300

In the notebooks, we use the library hamilton, which seems to be discontinued. It's unclear whether we'll have to either:

  1. wait until hamilton is maintained again
  2. find a replacement for hamilton
  3. drop that notebook

My preference would be to drop the notebook.
