Meta: Sync to other streaming platforms? #50

With youtube recently cracking down on ad-blockers, and its policy changes being generally considered controversial by some, it might be a good idea to publishing / host the nix hour videos on additional platforms such as Odysee or vimeo. @infinisil @YorikSar

I don't have a strong opinion on that in any way, just wanted to bring it to your attention.

I would definitely avoid blockchain-based platforms because of the unnecessary complexity. As for Vimeo, I don't think we have enough viewership to justify paying for it. Overall I personally find YouTube a good platform worth paying for, either with time spent viewing ads or with actual money, which I find more direct and honest.

I too share @con-f-use's frustration with YouTube and would be interested in also hosting the stream somewhere else.

In particular I'd like to consider peertube, maybe even a self-hosted tweag instance.

Though for now I don't have the time to look into that more closely, maybe in the future!
