Possibilities:

Fade them out a little bit, since they typically don't matter much
If it's a 1 of 1 and not an EP, draw attention to it somehow

They are already small--should we maybe change the sizing formula to that they scale up logarithmically (or something like that), so there are bigger jumps at the smaller numbers?
