I just followed the steps to install vqmod automatically in my Open-Cart. After
copying all the files and folders to root folder and making permission changes,
I tried to run the URL http://mysite.com/vqmod/install, some server error
occurred like "Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to
complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@phonewish.nl and inform them
of the time the error occurred,
and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

opencart version 1.5.3
vQmod Version:2.1.5
Server Operating System: do not know

The site is not working.

Please provide help to resolve this issue

If you get this, remove the .htaccess file in the vqmod folder. This is not a
bug, the file is known to do this on certain servers that don't support the
.htaccess file method for protecting files. You may simply need to delete the
Options -Indexes line in the file to get it working

Chances are you haven't set write permissions. You should check your error log.
If you don't know where it is, get in touch with your hosting. they should help
you with this

fixed it
