DOM UNABLE TO LOAD: all XML's #62

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
The server went down for half a hour. Now the VQmod doenst work anymore.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.None of the xml's are working
2.Reinstall VQMOD doenst work(index.php changed, maps 755/777)
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

vQmod Version: 2.2.1
Server Operating System: 4x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5520 @ 2.27GHz

Please provide any additional information below.

Just re-upload all of your xml files. This seems to work whenever I've seen
this before. The file's seem to be corrupted

I see. Since this happened after a 30 minute downtime, the obvious choice would
be that some configuration has changed on the server during that time. Contact
your host and request they look into why it's stopped working

In the meantime, delete all the files in /vqmod/vqcache/ and also the file
/vqmod/mods.cache if it exists. Also make sure that the vqmod folder and all
sub folders and files have 755, 775 or 777 as the permissions (try them in that
order for all files). This is being closed as vQmod was working prior to the
server downtime (which means it's not vQmod at fault)

Sorry but it cannot be the fact thats it has something to do with the server,
because i also got another opencart webshop that also has vqmod on the same
server and that runs well.

i deleted all cache files. And set every vqmod file and map to 777
Still it does not work, very strange case.

right...but this one was working fine until the server downtime so clearly that
downtime has done something. If you have a vqmod install working fine on the
same server, its clearly a configuration issue of some sort or permissions on
the one not working and not vQmod itself, otherwise both wouldn't be working
