It'd be nice to be able to quickly enter or send a default user/pass setting parameter to ngrok

It would! I recommend suggesting that feature to the ngrok folks (with whom I am not affiliated): https://ngrok.com/

🤦‍♂️ ok, I am not very smart. I see this already is a feature of ngrok. The ask is to enable setting this via the extension. Seems definitely doable.
