Based on my experiences on the app, I would say no.
Watching through Twire doesn't add to channel points, and you aren't able to get a random sub during livestreams if someone gives them out to the community. I assume this means your account isn't logged as actually viewing the stream and therefore wouldn't be able to record watch time, so twitch drops wouldn't work if I've come to the correct conclusion. Best to do it through a browser.
I was wondering if the Analytics domain that are disguised as video chunks serving hosts are critical for this
https://www.mmo-champion.com/content/10979-Dragonflight-Twitch-Drops-Earn-Rewards-Watching-and-Supporting-Creators says watch at least 4h of content.
I am not sure how this tracking is done, so do you know if watching things in Twire counts towards the 4h goal or do i have to use a clean, adblocker free browser to get this done in the foreground?
