Not allowed to use the name of an extension I deleted #629

Brief description I created an extension called Steamworks, but chose the wrong type (panel instead of video - component), so I deleted the extension. Now, I'm unable to create another one with the same or similar name.

How to reproduce Cannot create an extension with the name Steamworks or any similar name (Streamworks, The Steamworks Game, etc.)

Expected behavior Should be allowed to create an extension with the name Steamworks since the one extension that had the name has been deleted.

This is not an bug, as it's intended for names of apps to be reserved for some period of time after deletion, although perhaps a feature request could be made on UserVoice for additional text to explain that during deletion.

I'd suggest reaching out to developers@twitch.tv and seeing if they can assist you in freeing up the name you wish to use.

Also, just to note for the future, if you choose the wrong Extension type you can change it at any time for versions that are in development, you don't need to make a whole new Extension.
