Closes issue #45 and replaces PR #46

So this PR implements the following:

Moves from github.com/twinj/uuid to github.com/google/uuid because of issue #45 (and deprecates PR #46)
Introduces go modules
Simplifies TravisCI setup by using go modules
Replaces deprecated gometalinter with golangci-lint
Setup travis test to run on go 1.13, 1.12 and 1.11.13 (1.11.x must be higher than 1.11.3 because of the modules issue)
