Are parameters "use_decomp" and "use_esd" meanningless for function "detect_anoms"? #83

The parameters use_decomp and use_esd are not used in the implementation of function detect_anoms, I don't know why do you keep them. Can anyone explain for me?

I've also discovered this issue. Wondering if aynone is interested in solving it. It would only take a few judgements and lines.
