Feature/add travis #3

Here is pull request, now off a branch, which adds Travis support per your issue #1.

I wasn't very careful and as I didn't branch for the previous PR on the small R CMD checks, they are now in here too. My bad.

One thing I forgot to note was that in README.md you need to s/eddelbuettel/twitter/ in the URL to the Travis status png, and you have to of course register your account with Travis so that commits trigger a test.
