Also wondering the same. https://blog.twitter.com/engineering/en_us/topics/open-source Doesn't seem to have direct mention of future status of this repository
@KennethCho-CKH this is not a released product; there’s nothing you can compare.
Hi @theAkito, thanks for filing. We've added several commits since your initial post here.
As mentioned in the README, we are working on our internal processes to manage issues, contributions, and working on tooling to sync changes between GitHub and our internal git repository. Our goal is to open-source more code, and foster a thriving open source community. This will take time, but this is just the first step!
Thanks @jdm-twtr for the feedback.
@theAkito dear The Akito, you seem to have big plans for this project.
Welcome, we are looking forward to your first pull request!
Might you have some ideas to put in place some strict RFC process? If that's the case please contact Twitter support directly.
Will this remain a snapshot without any updates or will this become the actual thing the company is working on & using in production?
If this will be the real thing, will there be diversions between the algorithm used in production & the one published here? Will there be two versions or will this be the one & only true algorithm, which will continued to be used in production?
