Using civicrm 5.4, on windows 10, php 7.2 - latest percentpricesetfield doesn't seem to compute percentages #26

I/we have a website w/WP frontend selling theatre tickets. Wanted to charge a 4% service fee - I downloaded v. 1.3 of the beta of percentagepricesetfield, and added a price to an existing priceset with text/numeric entry. I selected checkbox, and for the percentage I entered 4. The preview showed the new field with unchecked box, and the text 'one'. If I select one of the existing prices (say, $50) and check the box, only 1 (USD) is added for a total of $51. I tried select values, and got the same result, as well as another checkbox with values for ticket prices. I also changed the percentage value from 4 to 3.5, and 3 but got the same result. see below: image Below is a screenshot of the configured percentage price field for 3.5 percent: image thanks.

Hi @zorgalina Thanks for reporting the issue here.

It looks as though this behavior is caused by the extension's lack of support for price set previews; that is, in the price set preview, the percentage functionality is incomplete.

Could I ask you to try it on a public-facing contribution page or event registration page, and post a screenshot from there if it is not behaving properly?

Hi Allen, I will try it out after attaching the price set to an event and let you know what happens.
