Motion set up but not triggered (consistently)… #569

I know there are other issues raised regarding motion, but what I am seeing seems to be unique. I’ve included both my config as well as a verbose debug log for your review.

Summary ————— Motion detection is working fine via the Arlo app. When HA starts, the binary_sensors seem to be correctly set up. I can see them via Developer Tools->States. I set up a test camera near me to monitor the sensor. The camera would regularly trigger due to motion; the HA binary_sensor never seemed to trigger from “off” to “on”. I added a counter into the configuration file (you’ll see it). Oddly, over the course of the day, it actually captured 4 motion events from the camera; that was out of probably hundreds of motion detections on the part of the camera. So the events are making it, but very inconsistently. (I’m sorry, but I was unable to get a log that included a successful event capture…) The log attached is after a restart plus a single motion event on the test camera (named ROAMER).

Appreciate any guidance. Let me know what else I can provide…
