Arlo Camera battery drain issue #884

Hello:

Just installed the latest 0.7.4.2 version in the native home assistant os system 2024.2 I have on a raspberry pi3b+. I have (8) cameras and one original stand alone light. Most of the cameras and light are battery operated.

The application has been working well. With the exception of what seems to be a very severe battery drain on only one of my cameras. The camera in question is one of the original Arlo cameras that uses replaceable non rechargeable lithium batteries. The model is VMC3030. It works quite well as I have had no need to replace.

All other battery operated cameras and light have the built in rechargeable battery. Non of which are experiencing any abnormal battery drain.

I read where you have addressed this in previous versions. Additionally, I believe you are getting ready to release a new version. Might this address the issue I am having? If not, can you offer any suggestions?

Thank you.

I still have a bunch of those hooked into my system. I'll check them here.

In the mean time if you turn on debug output for Aarlo is there anything strange happening?

Any update on this?

I can't tell anything from the PDF.

Can you turn on debug as described here. I need verbose debug and pyaarlo enabled. Can you let it run for a while, I need to see if any strange packets are being sent.

You can encrypt it here and attach the output to this bug report.
