@twrecked I tried to remove the device from the native interface and then re add it and now I am presented with this.
@twrecked hey mate just a heads up this is the new webUI for my arlo account since the upgrade this morning.
I have redacted some content for privacy reasons.
I have the same issue. Can't arm or disarm the alarm panel of my Arlo system. I hope @twrecked can solve this situation.
I don't have this interface (yet) but it has been the interface for some people for a while.
Arlo has moved all of the alarm devices into a new location wide device. You can't get the individual devices any more. Did you get a new alarm device created?

I understood what they have done. I have 3 three Arlo Hubs in my home. Before I was able to change the state of every single hub. Now it's impossible because you have only one big alarm. It's clear the reason...If you have more than one house it's better for them if you pay more than one plan...
Hi @twrecked just checking in to see if there are any updates on this case. Is there anything more I can do to help you with this.
As far as I know this works - there are other people using this integration with the new interface - but you have to use the new alarm devices.
But if that's not the issue then tell me what you are trying to do, what you are expecting to happen and turn on some debug.
I'll look into the error message when you try to add it back in.
@twrecked can you tell me how would I now use the new alarm devices? I have looked over all the entities and devices and have been unable to find what I need to use.
@twrecked I did just find these. But they were not descript of what it was. I clicked on it and found that it is the new alarms but there is two of them. I think I need some help understanding of what it is and how it works. ![Uploading Screenshot 2024-07-30 at 09.23.34.png…]()
Arlo will generally provide 2 locations, named something like this:
alarm_control_panel.aarlo_user_location_*
; this is the location assigned to the shared account itself.
alarm_control_panel.aarlo_location_*
; this is the location provided by your main Arlo account to the shared account.
Most people, and I suspect you are in this category, need the second one. It's safe to ignore the first one, it doesn't control anything.
Note:
Awesome! This is great news!
I am 100% the second one in this scenario.
I really appreciate you are taking the time to share with me the knowledge here on this new adjustment to the Arlo platform.
However, raising one final question, does that mean you will now be removing the legacy alarms?
Follow up question, can I rename the entities in HASS?
The current names are not quite descript.
I still use the legacy alarms so no plan on removing them any time soon.
And I think you can just click on that and rename it on the screen that follows. These items operate like normal Arlo entities.
I just installed two Arlo cameras and set up the service at Arlo.com. When installing the integration the locations are not generated. I get all the sensors etc related to the cameras but not the location. Andy ideas what I might have done wrong here??

Note:
* I say "generally" because if you don't share your _Arlo_ account you will only get the first one. * This was from the source code and memory; I'll dig out the one login I have with the new interface and double check
After my app updated, I still only see one entity with alarm_control_panel.aarlo_*
. It does not include the word "location" in the id, but it does not update the mode in the app. Is the other location entity supposed to be automatically added to the integration? Or are there some steps that I must take to add it?
I saw on another post that I can't find now that the host path was wrong. I commented it out, and the location entities showed up
The arlo mobile app updated today with a new interface and new layout of things.
The alarm was mentioned it is now something like arm away and arm home now.
This has now broken my integration with HASS.
Any chance @twrecked for an update on this to fix it?
How can I help provide information for you to review and fix?
