Threaded Python Execution Crash in Max #33

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start a python socket inside max
2. send a signal to the socket from another app
3. the signal triggers a mxs function

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The mxs function should get executed, however, as of now max crashes instantly.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Max 2011 64

Please provide any additional information below.
nuke/maya have an executeInMainThread python feature that alleviate the problem.
