blurPython - compilation for 3dsmax 2014 #71

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
- try to build sources of the blurPython
(with all paths fixed)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- errors with unicode character set and functions to_string() which returns
const char *..

can you please make 3dsmax 2014 installer or just try to compile and tell me if
it is ok, cause i don't know how to fix these errors..

sorry, blurPython compiled well, don't know why, but worked only compilation
for python 2.6, and blurDLX have a lot of compilation errors.

.dlx from 2013 does work on 2014.. But it does not load the proper qt.dll's
I'm guessing the ones that used to be in the root dir are now being loaded from
another dir..
It might be as simple as removing those factory qt.dll's not sure..

See https://code.google.com/p/blur-dev/issues/detail?id=73#c1

We will be releasing a new build soon that supports Max 2014, and gets around
the non-standard dll names.

Max 2014's caddies.gup was compiled using msvc2010 older versions were compiled
using msvc2008. They also renamed the dlls to include _AD_ in the name. This
made using your own qt much more difficult.
