This would be cool, but we should make sure that uploading your high scores is optional, and the global scores should probably only keep track of each person's #1 score.
Note: Using Microsoft stuff that has been provided as an employment benefit (aka the Azure allowance) may cloud the waters in terms of who owns what... I imagine it doesn't really matter, as Microsoft has bigger things to worry about, but maybe worth considering if we want to be safe.
Keep a list of all high scores from all users on all devices. When a user dies, show how their score compares to the local (their device) high score, and how it compares to the global high scores.
There might be a way to do this through the Google Play Store, but since I believe we want Charge to work on multiple platforms it might be better for the long run to set up our own web service to handle this. As a (future) Microsoft employee I already have a monthly allowance on Azure to set up SQL databases and host web services and whatever else we need. It's be more than we could ever use on this game each month, so there is no need to worry about cost for this feature.
