Overlapping species #8

It seems to me that to account for overlapping species using the second method proposed we need to modify data structures, survey app and field procedure. See new text and figure in document. I propose we discuss the issues here to keep a record in order.

How do you all think we should proceed?

This issue is still outstanding. De facto the code assumes that all estimates are for non-overlapping areas.
