How do you want approach this logo, icon creation?

razvangoga commented 3 months ago

Was thinking to reuse the tye logo and add a 2 on it ( and maybe change the color pallete a bit) so tye users would recognize it

I didn't know that Tye has any logo. Where is it?

razvangoga commented 3 months ago

it's here as img and here as favicon

it's shown mainly in the dashboard as far as i can tell

on nuget they had the general .net logo, since the tool was owned by the dotnet (or aspnet) organization / team

Ok it was in the Dashboard, it didn't attract attention.

Do you know the license of the logo and if it can be reused modified?

drakon660 commented 3 months ago

We can switch to WTFPL :), My favorite licenses are MIT and Apache, so whatever. I terms of logo probably small change would be good because it was microsoft version and this is Tye2 :).

razvangoga commented 3 months ago

@Mrxx99 the two images (svg logo and favicon) were in the original repo here without any specific mention about their licence, so i assume they should fall under the same MIT licence with the rest of the codebase

what about this? image

razvangoga commented 3 months ago

this is the point about the dashboard update - i'm on it now (and the namespace folder renames) - a PR will follow this evening

razvangoga commented 3 months ago

i've merge the rename PR #47 - it's a monster
