[REQUEST]: Customize bot command prefix. #468

Is your feature request related to a problem?

People who use a UK keyboard may not be able to type the tilde (~) key, and therefore may not be able to use the bot.

Describe the solution you'd like

The option to change the command prefix for your server would be a simple solution to this problem.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Alternatively, changing the command universally would also work, but that seems like a less attractive option to me.

You can change the bot's command prefix using the ~settings command (#settings)

EXAMPLE:

~settings pre !

Changes the bot prefix to ! on your server

Of course, as the commands are migrated to Application (slash) commands, this will become less and less of an issue. All commands will eventually be initialized using /[command name].
