We do show a notification when the e-mail was changed. See below:
But for actions that may block some features (unverified e-mail address, blank contact number), I was thinking of making the notification persistent. Maybe an icon beside the field?
That or have the banner persistent.
I think thats a good idea. have the banner persist until the user confirms their email address.
@UnspeakableHorror will this require any backend changes to expose the verified email state?

Got it. Nice. Will have to make it a little bit different (and maybe position it somewhere elseso it doesn't block other notifications).
@nelonoel we don't currently have any sort of visual UX notification that an email address is unverified. This also prevents people from getting feedback, as per this: ![Uploading Screen Shot 2015-10-20 at 3.26.26 PM.png…]()
We may want to include some unverified email reference so the user feels incentivized to verify it.
