This is a key feature that we really need to evaluate how best to integrate into the flow.
Here's how Linkedin's alumni page looks:
It allows me to sort by industry, company, and location and view where alumni are at. I can then view their profile and send them a message. It is really geared towards generating connections.
When I click on a job posted on Linkedin it shows the following information:
LinkedIn's approach is entirely different because they separate from Jobs from Connections (they just complement each other through small secondary info elements). Thing is, we have to choose what our focus would be. Do we want to focus on the job? or the referrer? I know we talked about this before but revisiting the design, I find focusing on two things makes the process a lot confusing. Check below to see what makes sense to you.
Job-focused
Referrer-focused:
..or we could also do both. One, focused on job searching and another focused on browsing connections.
Users clicks on get feedback Clicks on Referrals System generates list of alumni that have matching jobs at their companies. User clicks on Get Referred Job description appears User clicks on Get referred again Vyllage emails alumni sending them a link to the students vyllage profile.
Seems like too many steps. What do you think @nelonoel
