Player teleportation through walls #7

Describe the bug VR Players are able to stick their heads through the walls exposing the next room and allowing them to place the teleporter, thus traveling through walls. It is allowing players to access blocked off areas and view behind the scene assets.

Version Found Visceral Carnage Playtest Release v0.1 Alpha (possible has transferred into "Visceral Carnage Deklan v0.1 Alpha" )

To Reproduce

  1. Start game
  2. Go up to a wall
  3. Move head forward and through the wall until you can see another room
  4. Aim the teleporter until a valid teleportation target becomes visible
  5. Activate teleporter
  6. Access the other room by teleporting through the wall

Expected Behaviour Ideally a player should not be able to see behind the wall; they should reach a barrier, be unable to move their head further and their view obstructed (by the wall). The teleporter also shouldn't detect a location to transport to if there is a barrier/wall between the the player and teleporter target.

Additional context Steven found it. We need to make sure we fix this so he can't gloat about it still being an issue.

Labels adjusted. The game is still playable even if this isn't fixed, though it is preferred that it is fixed before the showcase release

This issues is a very rare case, and as a group we feel as though there is no point fixing it at this current time.
