It'd also be nicer to have these kind of things as separate issues, makes it easier to mark them as done individually
@slothybutt please see the questions in comment above (forgot the mention the first time)
Talked with Slothy on Discord: the last point is the only one remaining
Have an option to sort the property list by item Ex: There might be a "relay" tab with just the sending channels, receiving channels, and switch requirements of all the relays in the section, and another tab with all the various stats of the pressure switches in the selection.
Why: In some cases, based on the way you put down switches in a level, you might have a bunch of, say, relays and tempswitches near each other in a giant grid. If you just want to adjust the sending channels of the relays, it would be a real pain to go through and deselect all the tempswitches so that you're just adjusting the relay settings. As for why to have this feature be togglable, having the giant pooled property list is still quite useful. It'd just be even better if it could also have the option to be split into sections by item type.
Allow filtering by item type Ex: Along with the channel filters, there might also be a tab showing all the item types in the selection, and it might allow you to kick certain items out of the selection.
Why: It would be really useful to kick items out of a selection for many, many reasons, like deleting all of a certain item from a level.
Change the "Editing" and "Filter to" buttons to be a bit less confusing Ex: Have it say that you're in the "property editing" tab, and give a button that says "switch to filtering tab" and vice versa for when you are in the filter tab.
Why: I have a lot of trouble with buttons that switch between tabs since it seems like a 50/50 whether the thing that the button says is what the current tab is or what the next tab is. I also think the current implementation doesn't emphasize enough that there is a filter tab in the first place that you can switch to, both because I don't instantly know what that button might do and because the button itself kind of just looks like a title for the editor popup.
