[BUG]: Bandsaw causes hallow(all trees?) to disappear

Describe the issue in detail.

I've been using the bandsaw to cut apart whole hallow trees. It's inside my base on a layer od placed schematics above ground level. Occasionally when cutting from the main tree, the bigger part will just disappear. I have checked all open drawers/schematics, all the way down to the basement and all the way up to my house. The tree is just... gone and it's really defeating.

photos were taken just after it disappeared. 2nd picture is to show what i meant by a layer above ground level.
