it doesn't delete wood, it conjoins it into one singular piece. It's done to ease the physics load. In the past it would sand each and every segment individually, causing tons of lag. It's not a bug, you don't loose wood.
Peek. did you watch the video in question at all? it deadass deletes wood. It tries to conjoin a large part of the tree then converts it down to a very small sanded piece thats worth less than the bark even was
you can see in the video where a piece gets turned into $74 when its supposed to be roughly $1000

Describe the issue in detail.
So the script meant to be conjoining parts from sanded trees (only sanded from the sander, the hand saw works) has always been buggy at best, but now its been more and more of an issue, now it just straight up deletes wood, this effects all trees but its a lot more noticeable with the more branches, like spruce, snow, and pine trees. the fact that it almost always goes into 1 part should be a hint as to whats going on. hopefully this link works as the file was too large
