How do you think things can be improved?
Currently theres a way to dye some materials, but this is somewhat silly (ive never heard of a brick being dyed before oaklands) and people should be able to paint schematics. Painting a schematic won't fully change the color of the material used to fill the schematic but it'll blend the selected color with the color of the material (please use oklab or some other color space, because Color3:Lerp() sucks for this usecase).
Paint can be made via putting dyes into a new machine called the cannery (I'm taking the cannery idea from here because it'd be cool to have sorta multipurpose machines). The cannery would take a dye and some metal (zinc, iron, tin, ect), and turn it into a can of paint.
Paint could then be applied to objects via a paint gun that you have to refill with paint, the paint gun wil have a ui showing color choices. But the player will only be able to use paint colors that they've loaded into the gun, although removing paint from a object will be free.
Note: It'd be cool if the paintgun has like a sorta splatter effect like weapons in splatoon perhaps using a beam and then a particle effect where it hits the filled schematic.
