Anyone know a solid alternative? Too many crashes these days... #363

Hey,

Ive been using and loving this tool for a few years now. It is fantastic... or at least it was.

I think over the years its been neglected a little and its now starting to show - with frequent crashes.

If anybody is using an alternative which is comparable and dependable please share. Im sure others would be interested too.

Thanks!! Lee

Same question here. Too long without updates and maintenance.

Agreed. I can't even get it working with a very simple server. Argh.

Not sure if this helps, but seems like someone out there in the dev world is trying to keep a version of this project up to date. They created a fork and renamed it from hotel to chalet: https://github.com/jeansaad/chalet/commits/master

👋 I have a competing project, https://github.com/peterldowns/localias, that accomplishes the same goal (local development aliases) in a different way (edits /etc/hosts and runs a proxy server on :80 and :443, rather than using a .pac proxy plugin). Consider checking it out if you run across this!
