I'm not able to reproduce this followed by your steps.
Could you send us the log at typora.log
, window-state.json
and profile.data
under C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Typora
to hi@typora.io ?
Also, what's your screen DPI? Do you use external display (include the projector) ?
The setup I'm experiencing this on is a laptop (HP EliteBook 850 G3) with a 2560×1440 screen at 210ppi (14" diagonal). The display is set to the screen's native resolution.
I do have a 150% scaling factor set in Windows display settings, but putting that back to 100% doesn't make the issue go away, not even after a reboot.
I mostly dock this computer in my office, where the desktop is extended to two external monitors at 1920x1080. The big difference in resolutions and dpi between the laptop monitor and the external ones tends to give me strange visual results in various applications every now and then; in this case, however, it also happens when I don't have any external monitors connected. I have also learned to always log out of and back in to Windows, if not just reboot, after anything changes about the screen setup. The Typora issue remains if I shut the computer down completely, and reboot it with no external monitors, the display at native resolution and 100% scaling.
I will send you the requested files shortly.
Does this still happens in latest version?
Version 0.9.53 (beta)
Environment Windows 10 Pro, Version 1709, Build 16299.492
Problem description The Actual size setting from the View menu results in inconsistent zoom settings. Selecting it from the menu results in a different zoom level than when starting Typora and restoring the setting from a previous session.
Steps to reproduce
Comments I used the Zoom In option from the View menu during a presentation, to make the text more visible on the projector. Later, I used Actual size to go back to the default setting, and noticed that the text was still huge whenever I opened a new Typora window, and I had to set Actual size again every time. If I set a zoom level using Zoom In or Zoom Out, it's properly restored across sessions. The Actual size setting seems to be, too, but it results in a different zoom level depending on whether the setting has been active from the start, or is set explicitly from the menu.
