Whenever I start a word with the letter "i" immediately following an italics or bold word, the letter "i" is a capital "I" even if it shouldn't be.
For example, If I type this: good idea It comes out as: good Idea
I can't find a way to turn off auto capitalization. Hitting shift of caps lock has no effect.
Please turn off capitalization in your System preference. You could google "turn off capitalization os x".
But "i" should not get autocapitalized in your case
