In macOS, a user can create an "Alias" (akin to a "Shortcut" on Windows, but technically slightly different than a soft link and a hard link on Linux, which Mac also supports).
When I attempt to open a directory of three Aliases to other directories, I do not see the three other directories; instead, I see files, the content of which Typora attempts (and fails) to parse.
