Find doesn't show matches inside the viewports #3175

In at least one case, finding a string that is present in a documents matches them, but doesn't show them matches in the viewport. I know it matches because the viewport goes a little bit down, but the matches are in rows below the visible area.

I'm on a 1920x1080 screen, and use a Night theme with 1800px width. The matches are on the second page, and I'm on the view mode.

Oddly, after a few occurrences are matched, if they're outside the visible area, and I click Esc, the viewport moves to the matches.

I can't replicate this on macOS 10.14.6. What OS and application version are you using, @saveriomiroddi ?

64kramsystem commented 4 years ago

Ubuntu 18.04.3 (derivative). The version was the latest as of the time of writing (currently I've uninstalled it). I'll upload a video, although it'll take me some time.

@saveriomiroddi could you provide a video and sample file since we cannot reproduce this either?

There you go! It seems that it happens when there are no more occurrences found.
