I think it's useful to have a list of steps necessary to adapt the template for a new package, as those changes are spread across multiple different files and may not be obvious at first.
I thought about adding a line "The Unlicense is usually not the right choice for a package, even though it is used for this package template" but thought I'd first bring it up here as that is more opinionated than the rest of this PR. What do you think?
